Sparks and Daughters is a family run business, based in the British countryside, where they’ve been lovingly creating quality, personalised gifts and clothing from their Somerset studio for over a decade. Originally founded by Mother and Daughter duo Deborah and Verity Sparks, in 2019, Verity took over the running of the business, when Deborah retired. She, with husband Lex alongside her, now runs the business as Managing Director as well as raising their daughter Tilly.

Sparks & Daughters, well we’re a business totally true to our name. Originally founded by me and my marvellous mum Deborah Sparks in our small studio in our loft, we were able to watch all of our hopes and dreams unfold in front of us as we put pen (and paint!) to paper to create our range. In 2019, mum was ready to retire and watch me take what we had started together forward on my own, so now it’s me and my husband Lex, and our amazing daughter, Tilly, who is a regular star in our photo’s! And we really couldn’t be prouder of everything we’ve achieved so far.

Based in the sunny (sometimes!) Somerset countryside, I take so much inspiration from the world outside my window. With my artwork being inspired by an array of amazing animals and wonderful wildlife, you will find an abundance of cute and cuddly creatures throughout my designs, if they have wings or whiskers, I’ve probably drawn it! My passion has always been to design and create the most perfect products for everyone, young to old, whether they have two legs or four (and a tail!).

Aprons was where it began, a perfectly practical gift, terrifically timeless, and I guess you could say we are now true apron aficionado’s! As our family grew, so did our vision for our business and from our own experiences in life came the range we have today. Jam packed with tokens to celebrate every moment whether big or small, from welcoming new little wonders into the world to wonderful wedding accessories, we’ve been there ourselves, we know the journey of life, and we will always have you covered! The newest addition to our world of wonderful gifts is our Made in Britain range, a carefully curated collection of products designed by me that are handmade, from first cut to last stitch here in our studio, with no waste, no nasties and no doubt that they will be loved by all!

As a true family business, it is, always has been and always will be our goal to bring you, our beloved customers, a range of clothing, gifts and keepsakes for your loved ones, because from being a mother myself, I know that there is nothing more heart-warming than creating a moment that is so full of love.
