I can't believe it's already March and although the weather has been trying to trick me into thinking we're still in the middle of Winter, our lovely customers have started buying their Mothers Day Gifts. So at least from that point of view I can say - at last - it's beginning to look like Spring!

There have been many new and exciting gifts added to our Mother's Day Collection this year, with some beautiful matching Mummy and Me sets and something extra luxurious to make any Mum feel very special indeed. I am really proud of how far the collection has come over the past few years and I know that lots of you have been in search of some Mothers Day Gift inspiration, so I thought I'd share some of my favourites, both new and classic, with you all.

The New Collection

2020 is our year to #FollowYourRainbow. The Sparks and Daughters team are focusing on positivity, kindness and emotional strength. Just as our collection of gifts have been created to celebrate all moments in family life, delightful or difficult, our campaign is a way to celebrate the way families and loved ones can celebrate, love and support one another to chase a dream, grow in strength or even overcome difficult moments. With rainbows being at the very centre of the theme, you'll find them featured on a number of new products. Also, following how successful our Family Portrait range was over Christmas, we've extended this really fun and uniquely-personalised design to include matching pyjamas and shirt sets that can be worn all year round. There is also a new Embroidered Botanical Dressing Gown, which is beautiful and elegant, perfect for a Mum who likes a pamper day!

My favourite item in the new collection is the Rainbow Matching Hoodie Set. I was so pleased with how this embroidered design turned out. I wanted the Rainbow to have a hand-drawn look, even though it is actually embroidered. When I saw it for the first time, I was so happy - it looked exactly how I imagined!

The Classic Collection

Some of our Mothers Day Gifts may have already been around for a year or two, but they are just as lovely as they've always been. We've always been a huge fan of Breton stripes and with Spring being the season to get your stripes on, we've more than a few matching Mummy and Me Sets to please even the biggest stripe addict! Aprons have been a part of our collection since the very beginning and the Favourite Dish Linen Apron is a beautiful modern take on a classic Sparks and Daughters design, which makes a great gift for Grandma. Mother's Day always falls on a Sunday so a pair of matching pyjamas, like our Bear Mummy and Me Pyjamas are ideal for a snuggly PJs-day at home and our Mumma and Bubba Tshirt set is a great gift for a first time Mummy!

The Customer Favourites

Our Botanical Monogram Embroidered Tote Bag is popular all year round, but never more so than in Springtime. Our linen Hug from Me to You Scarf makes a great gift for special Nanna and is cool enough to wear through to Summer and Penguin fans just seem to adore our snuggly pyjamas, whatever the weather! The Mummy and Me Cotton Apron Set is a beautiful gift for enjoying quality time and making memories together.

Our Denim Gardening Apron is the customer favourite that I love most. It makes a great gift for both green-fingered Mummies and Nannas. I just love how it's both beautiful and practical, with lovely big pockets and the denim is wonderfully soft.
